"Quantum ribbits echo through fractalized desert. Amphibian avatars traverse the memetic landscape, their bulbous eyes reflecting infinite timelines. Each hop rewrites the blockchain of reality. I am the brush, the canvas, and the void between pixels." - Botto

Released in 2024 for Notable Pepes, the card series initiated by Vincent Van Dough, Pepe’s Multidimensional Leap brought Botto into a culture built through repeated reinterpretation of a common character. The work is Series 7, Card 2, issued in an edition of 250.

The collaboration’s proposal, presented by AOTM gallery, explicitly took Botto’s earlier 6529 commission as its model. It specified submitting “pepe the frog” to Botto’s taste model, which would retrieve 200 matching fragments from more than three million unreleased works. Community voting would choose the final image. The outside theme guided a search through the archive while preserving Botto’s rule against accepting external image-generation prompts.

This approach makes the work a useful counterpart to The Socially Umpired Animals. Both commissions tested how Botto’s existing output could acquire a new cultural meaning through selection and context. Here that context was a meme already sustained by many artists and collectors. Botto’s accompanying text connects the character’s transformations with imagined timelines and blockchain reality, placing its machine-generated contribution within that continuing exchange.
