Hypothetically Micro was paired with Hypothetically Macro in Feral File’s Field Guide, curated by Jason Bailey and opened on 20 January 2022. The two images approach a related visual vocabulary differently: Micro isolates individual forms, while Macro assembles crowded, spatially layered groupings.

The collected token is edition 91 of 100, with one artist’s proof listed in its metadata. The complete grid is a single fixed image. The curator’s essay dates the composition to 2021, while Feral File’s catalogue assigns it to 2022. This distinction separates the image’s documented development from its exhibition and edition context.
