There’s No Distance belongs to the Still Life series. It uses simulated cubes as conceptual geometry, exploring how mathematical information becomes an experienced image. Output #49 specifies eleven cubes and a Night background.
The work was released through fxhash for Reas’s It Doesn’t Exist (In Any Other Form) exhibition at bitforms in 2023. Moving the cursor or a finger changes the image; other controls reveal its diagram, generate a new arrangement, pause or change the background.
