Ex Nihilo (Cosmos) belongs to Reas’s Still Life series and takes the dodecahedron as its underlying form.

Co-presented by Art Blocks and Feral File in March 2026, the work connects mathematical ideals with images made from code. The viewer can change color channels, speed and configurations, or pause the system.
