The work marks Asendorf’s entry into the Tezos art community. It is the earliest mint recorded for his asdf account; his kimasendorf account began minting six days later. The Culture Project’s 2023 profile also identifies this GIF as his first mint on the Tezos platform. This distinction is specific to Tezos: in his 2024 interview with Right Click Save, Asendorf recalls minting on Foundation on Ethereum before discovering Hic et Nunc on Tezos.
