This is the 2022 color edition of monogrid 1.1, a revision of Asendorf’s earlier monogrid system.

Sixteen simultaneous operations (noise, shifts, modulo transformations and resets) act on rectangular regions that can overlap. Their interactions allow an apparently simple grid to develop increasingly irregular behavior.
